My background
In my coaching work, I unite the "hard" technical competence, gleaned from my 12 years of professional experience as an engineer and product marketing manager in internationally-active companies, with my "soft" interpersonal social, psychosocial expertise acquired from my education, training and experience as a coach.
My coachees benefit from the combination of the best of this expertise with my healthy common sense and life experience when devising their own solutions and the achievement of their goals.
During my 12 year professional career in an internationally-active company as an engineer and product marketing manager in the field of Optoelectronics, one of my emphases was on the content preparation and the carrying out of technical seminars and training courses for customers and partners from all over the world; this work has strengthened my skills in communication, visualisation, reflection and presentation.
I have also had the opportunity to not only learn to appreciate and understand the multi-faceted aspects of the European mentality, but also that of the Asians and Americans and I have grappled with these both personally and professionally. I do therefore have a high level of intercultural competence and experience which has led to my decision to offer my coaching services bilingually in both German and English.

I treat people as my equal and with respect and courtesy. I work efficiently and think and act strategically, with a structured style of working which is result-orientated. As a mother myself, I have dealt intensively with the areas of education, children and family.
My strengths on an interpersonal level lie in my ability to empathise well with other people and to listen attentively. People trust me. I am reliable, discreet and always act professionally. Furthermore, I am able to motivate people to use opportunities and try new things and I encourage them to trust in their own ability.
And I know from my own learning and experience of being a coachee, how it feels to confront oneself with one’s tasks and decisions and to undergo the processes of change and further development – it was an extremely valuable experience for me which I have incorporated into my present work as a coach.

For me, coaching means:
- Helping you to help yourself
- Teaching the skills of self-reflection and self-direction
- Supporting and encouraging self-responsibility
- Resource activation
- Developing potential (independent thought and action, performance-enhancing)
- Improvement and expansion of perception, experience and behaviour
- Working through individual, person-centred tissues
- Solutions to technical, factual and/or psychological, social-psychological questions, aspects, problems
